SHORT LET –  Our Terms & Conditions

USE OF PROPERTY
Neither the Property nor any part of the Property will be used at any time during the term of this agreement by the Tenant for the purpose of carrying on any business, profession, or trade of any kind, or for the purpose other than a holiday/short term let, longer than 84 nights in one Property.
The tenant agrees to make good or pay for any furniture, fixtures and equipment that may have been broken, lost or damaged whilst occupying one of our cottages during the tenancy.
Please Note: work may only be undertaken by the Glyndley Manor Maintenance Team or their appointed contractors.
The tenant undertakes not to do or permit to be done within the site anything that interferes with the enjoyment or comfort of other tenants.
Only persons listed on the accommodation form may occupy the accommodation.

LIABILITY TERMS
The Glyndley Manor Estate or other associated companies Company shall not be liable to any person (including persons under 18) whose name or names appear on the reservation form or their dependents for any personal injury (fatal or non-fatal) unless caused by the negligent act or omission of the Company, its employees, or agents. Nor shall the Company be liable to any of the persons described above for any injury, loss or damage to any property including motor vehicles, motorcycles, personal effects, or luggage howsoever caused or sustained but it does not exclude liability for matters arising out of negligent omission or fault of the Company or its employees or agents. The Company does not accept any liability for the acts of omissions of anyone whom it does not directly control or who is not employed by the Company although it would endeavour to give reasonable assistance to any client who is in dispute with such a person.

ARRIVAL and DEPARTURES
All tenancies commence from 2 pm – 4.30 pm (please contact the office if you need a late check-in and different check-in instructions will be sent to you) and terminate at 10 am unless otherwise agreed in writing, at which time the tenant agrees to hand over accommodation in a clean and tidy condition.
Arrival: Please come to the Manor House reception from 2 pm to 4.30 pm to pick up the cottage keys. A staff member will be there to welcome you and answer any outstanding questions regarding your stay.
Departure: please lock the cottage and bring the keys back to a holiday cottages staff member at the Manor House reception. If you want to depart before 9 am please lock the cottage and put the keys into the BLACK BOX, marked HOUSEKEEPER, located in the information/laundry centre.

GENERAL NOTES/Terms
There is a Non-Smoking policy inside all cottages.
Holiday Insurance is advised on all cottage bookings.
We use SuperControl to manage our online booking process. We have a written contract with SuperControl to ensure that they will process your data on our behalf in compliance with all applicable Data Protection Laws.
Please Note: Minimum stay is 3 nights.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% is required upon booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the reservation (arrival) date.
For a Long Let Booking– minimum stay 4 weeks, please contact the office directly for arrangements and different terms & conditions. We reserve the right to change the cottage accommodation or cancel the booking in the unlikely event of unforeseeable circumstances.

Dogs are to be kept on a lead at ALL times wherever on the site and are not to be left unsupervised at any time. This includes the grounds behind and around the manor house. Please clean up after your dog. A dog waste bin is placed on the wall of the central laundry area for your dog waste. Dog waste can also be placed into the TRADE WASTE bins at the long-stay car park.
Washing Lines are provided at the rear of the Laundry Centre. Please do not display washing outside your cottage.

PARKING
Please do not park on the grass. The car park outside of the laundry area is for BLUE BADGE holders; LOADING and UNLOADING; and access for EMERGENCY VEHICLES only.
Failure to use cottages or overflow car parks may result in the car being removed at the cost of the owner. No electric vehicle charging is allowed on site through any other means than, allocated E-charging stations.

SWIMMING POOL USAGE Terms and Conditions
We are pleased to offer the use of the pool to those staying on the Glyndley Estate during the summer months. Make sure you familiarise yourself with the RULES section in your Information Pack located in the Cottage or in the laundry area, when using the swimming pool, for the safety of all.
Access to the pool is ONLY via the front door of the Manor House.
Please bring your cottage’s key fob to gain access to the pool.
Access will be refused if you do not show the key/fob. (Only for Glyndley Manor Cottages guests.)
Since the pool is unsupervised, with no lifeguard on duty, you are not allowed to swim in the pool if no one else is present. There must be a minimum of 2 people present, at all times.

General Safety Code:
Take care – swimming pools are hazardous; water presents a risk of drowning; injuries can come from hitting hard surfaces and misuse of equipment. Never swim after a heavy meal; avoid holding your breath for long periods; take special care if you suffer from medical conditions such as epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, or heart condition. Make sure you know how deep the water is; do not run or perform acrobatics; do not shout except in real emergencies. Keep an eye open for others, particularly children; get help immediately if someone is in difficulty.

Monday – Friday:
9.30am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm
Saturday:
2:00pm-5:00pm
Sunday:
9:30am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-5:00pm
Please be aware that the swimming pool may be closed, on occasion, if reception is not open or due to a chemical imbalance. It is part of our Health and Safety policy that there must be someone present to respond in case of an emergency.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES/ADD-ONS TERMS

Items with a star* are for rental only and items need to be returned to GMC after usage.
Extra charges may apply as follows: –
An extra supplement for a *Z bed/extra person is charged at GBP £20.
A *cot is also available at a cost of GBP £10.
*Highchairs are available at a cost of GBP £10.
A dog fee amounting to GBP £25.00. Please note that a maximum of 1 dog only allowed.
Late Departure Fee: a full day’s rate is charged.
Deep cleaning fee: £50
Lost keys:  from £15 *Guests are liable to the actual cost of replacing any lost key(s) or another security device(s).
If the loss results in locks needing to be changed, the actual costs of a locksmith, new lock and replacement keys for the tenant, landlord any other persons requiring keys will be charged to the tenant.
An invoice can be provided.

COMPLAINT AND REFUND POLICY FOR GLYNDLEY MANOR COTTAGES
ALL COMPLAINTS must be brought to the Glyndley Manor Cottages’ attention while you remain a guest in our cottage(s), prior to checking out and concluding your stay with us. To register the complaint/issue, please contact us by either:
•             Visiting the Glyndley Manor reception and speaking to a member of the cottages team;
•             Telephoning us on 01323 440 440 between the hours of 09:00 to 16:30 and speaking with the cottages team;
•             Out of these hours, by contacting us using the phone located outside the Manor House, or by using the cottages mobile phone number located in the welcome and information pack found in the cottage.
OUR POLICY is to address all complaints regarding a cottage promptly, and we always look to rectify any issue/s that arise, as and when they are communicated.
If the issue cannot be resolved immediately, we will always seek to re-accommodate you into another cottage (subject to availability) or come to an agreement regarding your stay.

OFFERS & DISCOUNT CODES Terms and conditions
Offers & Discounts are exclusively for our guests booking through our website www.glyndleymanorcottages.org or via phone call. Special Offers do not apply if you book through Booking.com except if it’s clearly stated on the offer or advertised on Booking.com.
Any offer displayed on our website, social media, or on prints cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer and or with any Long-Let bookings. Once booked with the discount code, our usual Terms and Conditions apply. Offers & Discount codes are time-limited and only apply during the dates advertised. They are non-transferable.
ALL Special Offers are payable in full at the time of booking and are NOT refundable or transferable should they be cancelled.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Holiday Insurance is advised on all cottage bookings.
PLEASE NOTE: –
Bookings made through the online booking system (our website: www.glyndleymanorcottages.org) are provisional until confirmed.  A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by email or post. All bookings require a 10% non-refundable deposit upon initial booking to ensure the reservation of the guests selected cottage.

Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to arrival will be refunded, save for the 10% non-refundable deposit made upon initial booking.
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged the total price of their reservation.
ALL Special Offers are payable in full at the time of booking and are NOT refundable or transferable should they be cancelled.
We reserve the right to change the cottage accommodation or cancel the booking in the unlikely event of unforeseeable circumstances.
